A Close Look at Light Strands on Rough Stone
Transparent drop strands create a fine illuminated layer against rugged masonry. The reference is a close view of warm white LED points along curtain cables before a rough stone wall. Nearby cable details are clearer, while the background becomes softer with distance. For a lighting buyer, the image is useful for discussing visual texture and cable appearance rather than judging an entire installation from a wide scene.
The close photograph does not reveal the curtain’s full width, drop, supports or power equipment. It cannot confirm cable material, measured brightness or outdoor performance. Use it as a detail reference and request a complete configuration for the actual wall project. For a venue combining curtain lighting with other decorative formats, explore commercial lighting solutions for the wider project.
Evaluate Appearance at More Than One Distance
A detail that attracts attention close to the wall may read differently across a courtyard or from a street. Review a sample from the normal visitor position as well as at close range. Look at how light points, transparent lines and stone texture remain visible under the site’s existing lamps.
The reference includes photographic depth and bright highlights. Do not treat the blurred background as a product defect or the highlights as a guaranteed optical function. Approve the intended appearance from the actual sample, viewing distance and operating mode, rather than relying on one camera view.
Keep Cable Appearance Separate from Material
Transparent is the specified cable colour. It describes the visual cable option, not proof of a particular sheath or weather rating. PVC and Rubber are material choices to confirm with the selected construction. The image alone cannot identify either material.
If cable visibility is important to the design, compare the sample against the actual stone colour and mortar. Include daytime appearance in the review, especially for walls that remain visible when the lights are off. A transparent cable can still be visible; it should not be described as invisible.
Specify Full Curtain Dimensions
Standard options are 3 × 1 m with 120 LEDs, 3 × 2 m with 240 LEDs and 3 × 3 m with 300 LEDs. Dimensions mean width × vertical drop. State the matching LED quantity with each ordered size so the quotation can identify the requested component clearly.
Measure usable wall width and the distance from the proposed support to a clear lower edge. A close-up photo cannot determine either. Custom dimensions are available for confirmation from a measured elevation showing obstacles and support positions. LED totals do not establish measured brightness or the number of sets required for a larger wall.
Review the Masonry Installation
Give the installer details of the actual substrate and the proposed fixing zones. Rough stone surfaces may present different contact and support conditions from a flat interior wall. Have the installer assess the chosen arrangement rather than selecting anchors from the photograph.
Keep joints free of mounting loads and consider where moving strands could contact uneven surfaces. Mark windows, doors, planting, drainage and maintenance access on the plan. A stable display arrangement should preserve building function and allow inspection without pulling the electrical cables.
Choose Colour and the Operating Build
Warm White matches the pictured appearance. White, Blue, Green and RGB are other colour options within the range. Compare the chosen sample with the stone and nearby lighting. The photo does not establish a colour-temperature measurement or guarantee the same appearance with every camera.
Select 8 Modes or Steady On and confirm the controller for the requested colour and voltage. Remote control, dimming, memory and coordination across several panels need explicit confirmation if required. For a wall texture display, review the actual presentation rather than assuming more modes always suit the project better.
Agree Power and Exposure for the Complete Display
Choose a separate 24 V, 110 V or 220–240 V input version for the site supply. State destination market, plugs and any necessary power accessories. Show equipment positions and routes on the elevation, with connections available for inspection and leads clear of normal paths. Discuss the selected version with OSLENA against the purchase brief. Buyers sourcing several lighting categories can compare OSLENA’s decorative lighting products alongside the proposed curtain lighting configuration.
The specified protection is IP44. Report rainfall, wall runoff, irrigation and cleaning water. Keep components away from water jets and standing water, and agree suitable protection for connections, controllers and power equipment. The curtain rating alone does not approve the entire wall installation.
Include expected minimum temperature, wind, persistent humidity and coastal air where relevant. Supports, restraints, connectors and the complete electrical build need review for those conditions. The close-up does not establish a wind-load or cold-weather threshold.
Prepare a Detail-Based Purchase Brief
Send both a close reference and a full wall view, with measurements, support height and the clear lower edge. List size, LED total, colour, cable material, voltage, mode and quantities, plus accessories and market needs. Inspect components before use, isolate power before maintenance and follow supplied instructions. Dry and label sets before seasonal storage, avoiding tight bends at joints.
Ask for handling, packaging and delivery requirements in the quotation. Explore the LED Curtain Light range or discuss the wider display through OSLENA project solutions.
Masonry Detail Questions
Does transparent mean the cable is invisible?
No. It is the specified cable colour. Review its actual visibility against the wall in daylight and darkness.
Can the material be identified from this close-up?
No. Confirm PVC or Rubber in the ordered construction rather than inferring it from the image.
Does the soft background show a faulty light curtain?
The reference includes photographic depth. Assess the actual product sample and full display separately.
Which standard set has 300 LEDs?
The 3 × 3 m option has 300 LEDs; 3 × 2 m has 240 and 3 × 1 m has 120.
Can the picture define masonry fixings?
No. Have the installer review the actual substrate, supports and access requirements.
What should accompany a detail-photo enquiry?
Include a full measured elevation, site conditions and the requested electrical configuration and accessories.
