Warm Points Across a Country Stone Façade
Stone wall curtain glow adds a vertical rhythm to a textured guesthouse exterior. The reference shows warm white strands descending across stonework and a pale-framed window beneath the roof edge. Garden shrubs sit in front of the lower wall. Rather than hiding the masonry, the light points let its texture remain visible between the drops.
For a country guesthouse or seasonal hospitality frontage, use the image to discuss the desired appearance. It does not establish installed measurements, fixing details or outdoor operating limits. The wall, roof, window and planting are scene elements outside the lighting supply. For a venue combining curtain lighting with other decorative formats, explore commercial lighting solutions for the wider project.
Review the Façade Before Selecting Fixings
Give the installer photographs and details of the actual substrate, including roof-edge access and the intended support line. Stone, mortar and trim may require different fixing decisions. The lighting image does not identify suitable anchors or approve attachment to a gutter, window surround or particular joint.
Confirm how installation and removal can take place without damaging the building or obstructing normal use. Mark doors, windows, drainage features and any signage on the plan. Supports and restraints should suit the façade and local requirements, with electrical joints free of installation loads.
Keep the Window and Planting Accessible
Check whether the decorated window opens, how it is cleaned and whether staff need regular access. Keep strands and leads clear of moving sections. Review the view from inside the room as well as from the garden approach, particularly if the window belongs to guest accommodation.
The shrubs in the reference occupy the lower foreground. Account for growth, pruning and irrigation rather than assuming the plants will stay in the photographed position. Choose a clear lower edge away from vegetation, surface water and gardening equipment. Do not use the visible near-ground arrangement as an installation instruction.
Measure the Display Width and Drop
Standard curtain sizes are 3 × 1 m / 120 LEDs, 3 × 2 m / 240 LEDs and 3 × 3 m / 300 LEDs. Dimensions are width × vertical drop. Specify the corresponding LED quantity with the selected set; it is not a measured brightness rating.
Measure from the proposed support down to the agreed lower edge, and record usable wall width around the window and other obstructions. For a larger façade, show every display zone on an elevation. Custom dimensions are available for review. The picture cannot determine the required quantity or confirm that a standard set matches the wall.
Choose the Colour Against Stone and Trim
Warm White matches the reference appearance. White, Blue, Green and RGB are other range options to specify. Compare a sample with the actual stone, pale trim and surrounding exterior lighting. Review it from the normal viewing distance and from guest windows, rather than judging only a close photograph.
Select 8 Modes or Steady On and confirm the supplied controller for the colour and voltage. A steady presentation can be reviewed for accommodation façades. Animated modes should be assessed by the operator for the intended setting. Dimming, remote control, memory and coordinated control require explicit confirmation when needed.
Define the Complete Electrical Build
Cable colour is Transparent. PVC and Rubber material options should be confirmed for the selected construction and site conditions. The picture does not identify a sheath material or establish its weather or temperature performance.
Order a separate 24 V, 110 V or 220–240 V input version for the actual supply. Include destination market, plug arrangement and required power accessories. Show where controllers and equipment will be housed, with access for inspection and leads routed clear of windows, paths and planting. Confirm accessory inclusion in the quotation. Discuss the selected version with OSLENA against the purchase brief. Buyers sourcing several lighting categories can compare OSLENA’s decorative lighting products alongside the proposed curtain lighting configuration.
Describe Rain, Cold and Wind at the Wall
The stated protection is IP44. Report direct rain, roof runoff, irrigation and drainage. Keep lights and equipment away from water jets and standing water. Connections, controllers and power accessories need suitable protection for their individual positions; the strand rating alone does not settle the complete installation’s suitability.
Provide expected minimum temperature, operating season and wind exposure. Ask the project team to review cable, connectors, supports and restraint for those conditions. Include humidity, condensation and coastal air where relevant. The image supplies no wind-load or low-temperature threshold, and cable material alone does not establish one.
Plan Seasonal Façade Maintenance
Inspect lights and connections before operation and after events that may disturb the display. Isolate power before maintenance, follow supplied instructions and use the agreed access method. Coordinate pruning, window cleaning and building work with a check of the curtain arrangement.
For storage, label sets by façade zone and electrical build, let components dry and avoid tight bends or tension at joints. Send a measured elevation with colour, size, LED total, voltage, mode, cable material and quantities, plus environmental exposure and accessories. Stone-Façade Buyer Questions
Does the photo identify suitable masonry anchors?
No. The installer must assess the actual stone, joints, trim and support requirements.
Can the strands cover an opening window?
Plan around the window’s operation and cleaning access, with clear cable routes and suitable fixing review.
Which option has a 3 m drop?
The standard 3 × 3 m curtain has 300 LEDs; 3 × 2 m has 240 and 3 × 1 m has 120.
Does IP44 mean unrestricted façade use?
No. Review actual exposure and the complete connections, power equipment and installation arrangement.
Are the shrubs and wall part of the supply?
No. They illustrate the setting. Define lights and agreed accessories in the quotation.
What is needed for a customised wall width?
Provide a measured elevation, support height, clear lower edge, quantities and the selected electrical configuration.
