Begin with the Existing Roof Edge
Sheltered eave icicle strands can give a roof edge a decorative hanging outline. The reference image shows one possible treatment beneath a covered structure. In a retrofit, the existing roof detail determines what can be mounted and where the cable can travel; visual continuity should follow those practical boundaries. Discuss the roof-edge lighting brief and surrounding covered structure with OSLENA and review commercial lighting solutions when coordinating this feature with other venue lighting.
Photograph corners, fascia changes and nearby openings before choosing quantities. An uninterrupted-looking edge may require separate modules so connections stay reachable and the strands avoid areas used by doors or equipment.
Compare a Shallow Drop with Available Clearance
Measure the space below the mounting line at its lowest position. Consider normal movement and maintenance tasks, not just an empty site. Wave and Horizontal are the listed hanging patterns; show the preferred lower outline on the edge drawing.
Available Set Geometry
Metre dimensions pair the horizontal width with hanging depth. LED counts belong to their respective rows, which should be kept intact in the order schedule.

Choose a Cable Finish Against the Fascia
Transparent, White and Black are available cable colors. Examine the appearance against the actual roof-edge finish during daylight. Specify PVC or Rubber material as a separate choice and confirm the build offered for the electrical configuration.
Warm White identifies the light color for this presentation. If several existing features must look consistent, use an agreed sample rather than assuming a photograph provides an exact match.
Review the Whole Sheltered Installation
The product protection grade is IP44. A covered position may still receive wind-driven rain or cleaning water, and connection points can have different conditions from the decorative strands. Have the installed arrangement reviewed for the actual location.
Ask the installer to establish suitable attachment positions and accessible feed routing. The lighting equipment is not intended to act as a support for other hanging items or to tension the roof structure.
Itemize Supply and Operation
Choose the required voltage version: 24V, 110V or 220–240V. Confirm compatible feeds and associated equipment rather than treating the alternatives as one universal-input build. Request the catalogue 8 Modes or Steady On control package explicitly.
Mark the position of each module and retain the accessory list for later servicing. Separate the decorative sets from any mounting hardware or other items that require their own quotation agreement. Buyers sourcing several lighting categories can compare OSLENA’s decorative lighting products alongside the proposed sheltered-eave icicle configuration.
Roof-Edge Purchasing FAQ
Can the longest set simply wrap around a corner?
Review dimensions, connection positions and the proposed mounting route with the installer before choosing that arrangement.
Does shelter remove the need for an exposure check?
No. Review rain, cleaning and accessory placement for the complete installation.
What helps a replacement order?
Keep the chosen configuration, module position and electrical package identified in the handover record.
