A Light-Draped Arrival for Festive Venues

Golden entrance drapery creates a strong arrival image by combining a bright overhead field with long vertical drops. The reference shows warm white lights beneath a portico, framing columns and a broad entrance stair. Garlands decorate the upper building edge, while a red illuminated area adds another layer below. For event venues and hospitality entrances, the useful idea is a coordinated arrival composition rather than a single isolated curtain. Review this coordinated venue-entrance reference with OSLENA as part of the venue’s decorative lighting brief.

The photograph illustrates a complete decorative installation. It does not prove that one standard set supplies the canopy, columns and all visible drops. Use the curtain specifications as component choices and request a reviewed project layout for the full effect. Architecture, garlands and the other decorations are separate scene elements.

Map the Arrival Sequence

Consider where visitors first see the entrance, where they pause and how they reach the doors. A canopy is viewed from below as well as from the approach, so check the appearance along both routes. Keep the building name, door signs and necessary circulation lighting readable. The decoration should work with the entrance rather than conceal its function.

Mark columns, stair edges, door openings and vehicle access on a plan. Identify places where a vertical drop can frame the route without narrowing it. A busy venue may need access for staff, deliveries and event equipment at the same entrance. Review those movements before agreeing the display perimeter and cable routes.

Treat Overhead and Vertical Coverage as Separate Areas

The standard curtain dimensions are width × drop: 3 × 1 m / 120 LEDs, 3 × 2 m / 240 LEDs and 3 × 3 m / 300 LEDs. Select the required component size from measured coverage. Do not use the photograph to infer its installed drop, support span or quantity of sets.

For the overhead area, submit a canopy drawing and ask the installer and supplier to review the intended arrangement. For the sides, measure down to a lower edge that keeps the route clear. Custom dimensions are available for confirmation. Include different coverage zones as separate items so the quotation can distinguish standard components from a customised layout.

Coordinate Colour Without Assuming a Mixed Set

Warm White matches the main drapery appearance in this reference. The range also offers White, Blue, Green and RGB choices. The red feature and other bright details in the installation should not be assumed to come from the same curtain configuration. Confirm every ordered colour and evaluate samples together when several decorative elements share the entrance.

Transparent cable keeps the specified cable appearance consistent across the curtain component. PVC and Rubber are material options to review for the selected build. Choose 8 Modes or Steady On, with controller availability confirmed for the colour and voltage. If the entrance is used for photography, assess the chosen sample with the intended camera equipment rather than promising a particular filmed effect.

Specify Supply and Equipment Locations

Order 24 V, 110 V or 220–240 V as the appropriate separate electrical version. Tell OSLENA the destination market and actual supply at the building. Confirm plugs, power equipment and controllers in the quotation. Listed voltage choices do not mean every set accepts every supply.

Draw the route back from each decorative zone to the equipment position. Keep connections accessible for inspection and leads away from steps, doors and vehicles. Coordinate the electrical arrangement with the installer; visual coverage and the permitted connection arrangement are different decisions. Fixings and supports must suit the portico and local requirements.

Review Exposure Under the Portico

IP44 is the stated curtain protection level. A roof may shelter part of a display while leaving side drops exposed to rain. Describe driven rain, cleaning water, drainage and any standing-water risk. Do not expose lights or accessories to water jets or immersion. Connections and power components need appropriate protection for their actual locations.

Tell the project team about wind entering the portico, expected minimum temperature and persistent humidity. Hanging sections may require restraint, and overhead supports need a site-specific review. The reference gives no wind-load or low-temperature rating. Coastal air and condensation should be included in the assessment of connectors, materials and maintenance access.

Plan Inspections Around Venue Operations

Agree a safe access method before installing lights above an entrance. Inspect cables and joints before operation and isolate the supply before maintenance. Staff should know how to report damaged or displaced sections and how to keep the arrival route available while work takes place.

For seasonal removal, schedule access around venue traffic, identify sets by zone and store dry components without pulling on joints. Ask for handling, packaging and labelling details in the RFQ. Production and delivery commitments follow the confirmed configuration and order.

Build an Entrance Procurement Schedule

Send the reference with plans, canopy coverage, vertical-drop measurements and support heights. Add colour, LED total, cable material, voltage, mode and quantities by zone, plus market, accessories and site exposure. Explore the Curtain Light range and OSLENA decorative lighting solutions when preparing the wider entrance scheme. Buyers sourcing several lighting categories can compare OSLENA’s decorative lighting products alongside the proposed festive entrance curtain configuration.

Entrance Specification Questions

Will one standard curtain reproduce the complete photograph?

Not necessarily. The picture contains several coverage areas and decorations. Request a reviewed layout and component schedule.

Can the curtains form an overhead canopy?

Provide the intended arrangement for supplier and installer assessment, including supports, clearance and equipment access.

Is the red illuminated area included?

It is part of the scene, not a confirmed feature of the quoted curtain. Specify other decorations separately.

What is the LED count for the deepest standard curtain?

The 3 × 3 m option has 300 LEDs. The 3 × 2 m and 3 × 1 m options have 240 and 120 LEDs respectively.

Does a portico roof settle outdoor suitability?

No. Report actual rain, wind, cold and humidity exposure for the complete installation and power equipment review.

What should the entrance drawing include?

Show doors, steps, columns, routes, supports and supply locations alongside each proposed lighting zone.
